Speaker Bio

Laura Baum has been working with children and families for over 20 years. Laura has held many different roles and positions in public and private school settings, after school, enrichment programs, performing arts programs, summer camps and in private home childcare, au pair and nanny roles. Laura also has work experience and teaching experience in special needs classrooms, inclusion settings, ABA settings and as a behavior aide to school aged children with IEPS. Laura has helped hundreds of children take their first nature walks, forest walks and plant their first gardens.

With all of this conventional work experience along with trainings in herbalism Laura has a very unique ability to assist children who are in school regimens to try something different, and build a rapport with nature. Laura is also able to help parents navigate herbalism for their children.
